This is the street version of the SX 175. Perhaps it wasn't a good idea to market this model while the development of larger capacity machines and the transition to 4-stroke models was so very much alive. The only other 2-stroke model manufactured alongside this model was the CZ-175. The CZ-175 sold new in the Netherlands for f 1.715,- Although maybe not very well thought through, this model was produced until the end of the AMF era. The SS 175 sold new in the Netherlands for 3.195,-
