Action Motorcycles
The firm first opened around 1981 in Wentworth Ave, Sydney, a few doors up from Sydney Motorcycle Wreckers, and moved across the road into premises previously occupied by P. & R. Williams at 74 Wentworth Avenue. They opened another store in Parramatta in the building Brian Collins built. The Suzuki dealer entered receivership around July 2014 and Wentworth Ave, which was the hub of motorcycling in Sydney for more than a century, had lost its last but one motorcycle shop. Only MCAS, an accessory store, remained.

A. E. Moore
Moore's Cycle Dept was located at 656-660 Hunter St Newcastle, and operated between 1909 and 1930.
In 1913 they advertised the Clipper motorcycle.
The building still exists, and is currently the office of Hunter New England Local Health.

Armstrongs Perth 1902

Armstrong's Cycle Agency
May-street, Perth, and in Fremantle.

In 1893 Percy Armstrong shaved more than 24 hours from the Sydney-Melbourne bicycle record, and he went on to take numerous records with motorcycles and automobiles - he crossed the Nullabor 18 times, the last crossing when he was 75 years old, in 1940. He had lost an eye in one of his motorcycle accidents, but continued to race despite this.

Armstrong established a chain of bicycle shops across the Goldfields, and became a pioneer of the motor trade of WA.

Probably the first motorcycle he brought in was a Dussart et Accou tandem pacer in 1899 and he imported Werner motorcycles in 1902.
W.A. agents for OK-Supreme, 1934.

ARMSTRONG Bicycles are the best and can be bought from £7 10s. upwards.
The ARMSTRONG CYCLE and MOTOR AGENCY, Perth and Fremantle.
The West Australian Sat 25 Feb 1911
Mr. Percy Armstrong, one of the best-known motorists in Australia, and one of the party who last year put up such a wonderful car drive from Fremantle to Sydney (2959 miles) in 8 days 23 hours 35 minutes, in a Studebaker, has left for England with a view to joining the Army Service Corps.
Sunday Times Sun 18 Mar 1917
Looking through the above handicaps it would seem that Mr. P. W. Armstrong, with all .respect to his capabilities, has been over-rated by the handicapper. Army" is not so young as he was 30 years ago, when he was a push cyclist no mean order, capable of holding his own in the best of company over a distance. But he must be well over the 50 mark these days, and that in itself is a tremendous handicap over such a strenuous course. Admittedly he is one of the best, if not the best road rider in the State, but on his occasion he has an almost impossible task.

    Percy Armstrong Dies
Well-known figure in cycling on the Goldfields in the early days and later in Perth, Mr. P. W. (Percy) Armstrong died in Perth today, after a serious illness. One of the pioneers of the road across Australia, probably no one has travelled more frequently by road across the continent than P.W. He was the founder and controller of the Armstrong Cycle and Motor Agency and was a strong supporter of all forms of cycling and motoring. He lost an eye in a motor-cycle accident many years ago and also saw service overseas during the last war.
