In effect, the new 500 c.c. overhead-camshaft four-cylinder A.J.S. is two twins set side by side. A common crank case is employed with a centrally disposed chain driving the four overhead camshafts. 1935 Olympia Show in The Motor Cycle, 5th December 1935.
