La W distribuée à très peu d'exemplaires, est dotée d'un moteur plus puissant que son aînée, (la V) ainsi qu'une finition encore plus soignée, elle servira de base aux motos encore plus puissantes comme la GTC (1937) puis de la Condor (1938).

In 1935 the Type W, appeared with a more powerful engine than its Type V predecessor, as well as an even more refined finish. It was further developed as more powerful versions like the GTC (1937) and the Condor (1938).

Lubrication - Moto Guzzi external delivery and recovery pump
Ignition - Magneti Marelli M.L.A.
Clutch - Multiple discs
Gearbox - 4 speed, housed in crankcase, foot change

Suspension - parallelogram forks, rigid rear
Brakes - SLS drum front and rear
Tyres - front: 3.00 x 20 rear: 3.25 x 20
Lighting - Bosch electric headlamp
Finish - Chrome tank with red panels, gold lettering and black pinstriping.
