A Brief History of the Marque
Koch Motorad-Center manufactured sidecars in Essingen near Aalen. They advertised sidecars suitable for BMW R 69S, R67, R50, R27, and R75, and in the 1980s their top of the range model was the K100 Royal Sport.
They imported the VW-powered Amazonas from Brazil, on special order. Possibly as few as five of these came into Germany.
The Koch catalogue included classic and vintage models, and the firm also supplied spare parts including windscreens for these.
In later years the workshop moved to Wanfried, and when Rainer Koch died his son Maximilian took over.
