Harso Motorcycles

Manufacturer: Hartmann & Sohn Fabrik, Biebrich am Rhein. 1924-1927

Prior to 1924 the company had been active producing equipment for the Swiss railways. In 1924 they began building motorcycles which included one powered by their own 250cc engine, Sturmey-Archer three speed gearbox, Brown & Barlow carburettor, and Komet front brake. It was belt-driven and the frame was also of their own manufacture. One source states that they used JAP 300cc engines.

After 1930, Hartmann built only sidecars.
