The motorcycle with the license plate number IY 81393 was built by Werner Beck, Arthur Beck's son.
Manufactured by Gebrüder Beck OHG, Xanten, c.1919~1930
Brothers Oskar, Arthur and Alfred Beck partnered in 1910. Around 1914, Oskar designed a lightweight 1.5 hp bicycle attachment engine, advertisements for which first appeared in 1919.
The Beck featured in racing events from 1922 to 1925, with one of the brothers achieving results on a 108 cc Beck motorcycle.
In the mid-1920s the company constructed a motorcycle with an OHV engine of some 350cc with a cast-iron head and a 3-speed gearbox and chain drive.
Motorcycle production ceased shortly afterwards, and from the early 1930s until the war Alfred Beck ran the business alone as an automotive workshop.
