A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured by Paul Artur Kreutzer in Kiel, Germany, 1926 to 1931.

Initially they used their own 348 & 398cc two-strokes using a Hurth three-speed gearbox, but soon progressed to larger four-strokes from JAP, Blackburne and the E 500 single and E 750 twin powered by MAG. The 1928 range listed a 1000cc twin-cylinder machine, the Z 1000.

They also used engines from MGH, Maschinenbau-Gesellschaft Heilbronn, who built them to the Küchen design. These were introduced in 1929 as the Atlantis 500.

The range for 1930 included a Blackburne 600cc ohv twin-port Rennsport model.

In total, some 50 machines were built.

N.B. It is possible production began in 1925 using the company name Motoren- und Fahrzeug-Werk Kreutzer & Schlüter.
