Milani Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured: 1964-1980*

Founded by Gino Milani, the Cesena company introduced mopeds and light motorcycles of 50cc named Furlo, Falzarego and Resia powered by 48cc FB Minarelli engines.

At the 1969 Milan Show they introduced much more serious machines with Verlicchi frames and P4 engines, the Cross Competizione and Sport Competizione, and at the 1971 show announced a P4-powered Chopper 50 with apehangers, hightail seat and sharkfin exhaust. Later, the firm specialized in the construction of off-road enduro and cross machines.

The Sport Competizione of 1970 had an FB Minarelli 7.9 hp two-stroke engine with a four-speed gearbox and a claimed top speed of 120 km/h.
