A Brief History of Labor Velomoteurs

Built at Neuilly-sur-Seine by Ets Ballot between 1908-1960, the machines used their own two-stroke engines as well as both two- and four-stroke powerplants from other manufacturers, particularly Zürcher.

Models include:
1920-22 265cc two-stroke. This engine was subsequently fitted to many Alcyon machines.
1922-1924 1½C.V. 96cc two-stroke. (Homme and Dame)
1924 Legere 175cc
1924 3CV

There was a relationship with Alcyon.

Prior to building motorcycles the firm was well-known in the automotive industry, having supplied engines to Delage, Licorne and Hispano.
