Collezione Puchi di Michelangelo Pochettino

An Important Collection of Italian Competition Motorcycles

A passion for motorcycles that featured a lifetime. Michelangelo Pochettino, known by all as "Puki", is surely one of the most significant in the field of vintage motorcycles. The former motocross rider then became the distributor and importer of Montesa and CZ, and he has assembled one of the most beautiful and diverse collections in Italy. In his career in the motorcycle industry he was also a manufacturer.

His commitment led him to make excellent products, like the machine he assembled in 1968 using the German Wabeha chassis and a 250cc Montesa engine. "Puki" believed this to be one of the best because of the correct positioning of the footrests and the excellent weight distribution.

The visitor will be impressed by the collection of competition motorcycles built between the end of the war and 1970. Mondial, Ducati and Parilla are highlights of this exceptional collection.

Quite a number of photographs of machines in the museum have been supplied by Justyn Norek.
