SPECIFICATION :

ENGINE. New improved 246 c.c. O.H.V. Single Cylinder; bore and stroke 70 x 99 m/m. Aluminium alloy piston : Duralumin connecting rod.
Roller bearings; Enclosed rockers, lubricated by mechanical pump.

LUBRICATION.-- Automatic mechanical pump and auxiliary hand pump.

IGNITION. High tension Magneto.

CARBURETTER. Two-lever type.

GEAR. Sturmey-Archer three-speed (close ratio avail). Handlebar-controlled clutch and kick-starter.

TRANSMISSION. Holler chains. Patent Cush Drive in rear hub.

FRAME. Low saddle position. Foot rests. Royal Enfield Front Forks with shock absorbers.

SADDLE. Terry or Lycett Spring Seat.

BRAKES. Internal expanding, front, and rear (3 In. drums).

HANDLEBAR. Sports type, adjustable : long rubber grips.

WEIGHT. Approx. 224 lbs.

SADDLE HEIGHT. 29 in.

LENGTH. 6 ft. 9 In.

TYRES. Dunlop Cord 27 x 2.75 in.

MUDGUARDS. Strong and efficient.

Carrier . Detachable carrier. By unfastening two nuts, the carrier and rear mudguard and lifted clear of the back wheel and tyre.

TOOLS.- -Complete tool kit In two strong pannier bags on carrier.

FINISH. Best quality Black Enamel. Tank panelled green and gold. Bright parts heavily plated.
