Debenham Sisters
Betty and Nancy Debenham, with their dog, Poncho, were keen motorcyclists. Nancy won a Gold Medal at Brooklands in 1926.

Velocette made only twelve Dirt Track KTD machines and this particular machine, ridden by "Smiling" Jim Kempster, may well have been the prototype.
It was powered by a "Velo" 411cc motor and whilst being notably quick, with a capacity 90cc less than the 500cc machines it was up against proved it simply could not compete.
