Several pages on the LE and other Velocette flat twins are derived from the work of Alan Britch of Eccles, near Manchester in England whose site, Fabs LE Velocette was at le-velocette.co.uk.
Alan owned a 1948 Mk.I., a 1956 Mk.II (which he'd bought in 1958) and a 1962 Mk.III. He knew a thing or three about the LE, did Alan.
