Brazilian Motorcycle Manufacturers

Agrale

Founded in 1962, Agrale produced motorcycles from 1984. These included the Agrale SXT 16.5, the Elefant 16.5, 27.5 SXT, the Elefant 27.5, the Dakar 30.0, the Explorer, the SST, and Elephantre, their most popular model. Some 400,000 motorcycles had been built when production ceased in 1989.

The Agrale Elefantré 30.0 was built from 1989 to 1997. It has a 190.39 cc 3 two-stroke engine developing 26.5 hp at 7,500 rpm, disc front brake, and electric starter.

Amazonas

Manufactured in Manaus from 1978 to 1988.

Three versions were produced - civilian, police and military. All were powered by Volkswagen 1600cc air-cooled flat-four engines.
