Italjet built a small number of machines for Floyd Clymer in the late
1960's utilizing Royal Enfield 750cc engines
to be marketed under the Indian banner. Around 15 of these quite handsome
motorcycles are believed to exist. Clymer died before the project came
to fruition and the remaining 200 Enfield engines were sold to Rickman,
resulting in the Rickman Interceptors.
Clymer also had Italjet build some 97 Velocette powered machines, of
which about half had Venom Thruxton engines.
The Bologna-based designer and manufacturer of two-wheelers, Italjet,
sold the complete manufacturing and distribution rights for seven of its
scooter models to the Kinetic group of India in January 2007.

chamber. apparently, when my dad bought it for me he was told the flywheel
