LE MOTEUR AUXILIAIRE SERWA
Le Serwa est un 50 cmc. 4 temps à culbuteurs qui se place à l'aide d'un bâti spécial, adaptable sans difficulté, sur le côté gauche de la roue arrière. II comporte deux multiplications qui, par l'intermédiaire chacune d'un galet, attaquent l'une ou l'autre à volonté une poulie-jante montée sur la roue arrière. Une commande à main fait basculer le moteur autour d'un axe pour embrayer sur cette jante l'une ou l'autre poulie; la position intermédiaire donne le débrayage qui isole le moteur et rend à la bicyclette son autonomie.
The Serwa is a 50cc, 4-stroke, overhead-valve engine that is mounted on the left side of the rear wheel using a special, easily adaptable frame. It features two gears which, via a roller, drive either one of the pulleys mounted on the rear wheel. A hand control pivots the engine around an axis to engage either pulley on the rim; the intermediate position disengages the engine, allowing the bicycle to run independently.
