Walker Bullpup

Built using a JAP sidevalve 980cc V-Twin sourced from a Carden monocar, it appears to be a one-off. The machine, registered on 21st April 1926 with the number OT891, is discussed in an article in The Classic Motorcycle of March 2021.

Victor Sidney George Walker began developing the machine in Farnborough around 1924 or 1925 and completed it in 1926.

With a very long wheelbase and a seat height of just 18 inches. and fitted with a Sunbeam gearbox, the Bullpup was used regularly until 1935 when Mrs Walker persuaded her husband to buy a car. The Bullpup remained in the Walker family's possession until 1963.

George Walker died in 1974.
