Letter re Ladetto
Scrivener was a motorcycle produced circa 1906.
The design was by an amateur named J. Scrivener and styled along the lines of the early Werner.
The engine used was a 2¼ hp De Dion that was mounted above the front wheel, which it drove by a flat belt. It was fitted to the frame of a bicycle with a strengthened front fork. It served its owner well for several years.
