ASP

ASP produced motorcycles from 1997 to 1998.

The name was taken from the initials of Andy Stevenson Performance, a company based in Nottingham.

• 1997 Late that year the first machine was seen at the NEC. Of limited production, the motorcycle was an innovation. Small numbers were hand built using advanced technology and modern stylish lines. The design was based around a Yamaha Thunderace engine and a single Maxton unit that controlled both front and rear suspension. The machine performed well and was light and very nifty - however, production costs were expensive.

  1998 After building the prototype the whole project was shelved. This was due to the prohibitive costs of development.
