Max Corkill, his passenger Gaynor Martin and his cat Rastus were killed when their motorcycle collided with a car driving on the wrong side of the road in New Zealand. The driver was drunk. Rastus was famous as he rode everywhere on the tank of Max's 1952 Sunbeam S7.
