Summerfield Motorcycles

Summerfield have been producing classic racing motorcycles since 1989, constructed by a large engineering firm located in Derbyshire.

The company is run by three brothers, classic racing enthusiasts who turned to producing spares for Manx Nortons in 1986. When Ray Petty died in 1987, they took over his services and expanded them.

In 1989 they, together with Bernie Allen, obtained permission to build complete machines. The results were very successful.

They produce both 350cc and 500cc models, and engines are sold separately, along with all the component parts.

  • Note: As a large company, specializing in precision engineering, the company has its own general web site. [1]
