Tamoto Scooters

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured 1949-1951 by Talon et Cie, Rue du Bois Bourgeois, Montebéliard (Doubs).

First produced in 1949 by M. Artagnan, the machine was fitted with 125cc Ydral engine and was manufactured on demand, with only 30 built. The Tamoto had the appearance of a scooter but shared many qualities of a motorcycle, somewhat like the MV Agusta Pullman.

There are only two known survivors of the marque.
