GS Motori Mopeds

A Brief History of the Italian Marque

The GS Motori company, based at Via Friuli 9 in Milan, was formed by the brothers Guidetti, engineer Alberico Seiling, and Silvestri Nunzio.

Seiling and the Guidetti brothers had previously worked with MAS, and Nunzio was a champion rider having won gold in the ISDT.

They also built complete mopeds in Normale and Lusso versions, the tank badge reading "Velo-Motore COMET Gioiello Milano".

Gioiello

The company built auxiliary two-stroke 38.5cc engines for bicycles under the Gioiello (Jewel) brand, with transmission by friction roller. The Gioiello engine was also built under licence in Brazil.
