La Fert era prodotta e commercializzata da Ferruccio Calamida, la sede sociale della marca era a Milano in via Cesare Correnti.

La casa risulta essere attiva dal 1925 al 1929.

Il motore che equipaggia la Fert è stato progettato dai tecnici Bonamore e Forlani, si tratta di un monocilindrico a quattro tempi di 173cc a valvole in testa e cambio in blocco a due rapporti comandato a mano per mezzo di una lunga leva sul lato destro della moto, caratteristico il volano esterno sul lato sinistro del motore.

Il telaio è un monoculla rigido con la forcella anteriore in tubi tipo Druid con corte molle agenti in compressione.

La moto è venduta nella versione Turismo, con pneumatici baloon, e Sport con pneumatici di maggiore sezione.

La moto Fert partecipa ad alcune gare guidata da Vittorio Aldi ma l'unico successo lo ottiene ad opera del pilota Camillo Saini nella Como-San Maurizio svoltasi nel 1929.

Si classifica prima di categoria in una competizione di cross country svoltasi nel milanese e una Fert, dotata di sidecar, vince la prova di regolarite Milano-Stresa.


Fert was built from 1925 to 1929 1, by Ferruccio Calamida. The registered office of the brand was at via Cesare Correnti.

The engine that powered the Fert was designed by the engineers Bonamore and Forlani (who also designed the FVL engine), a single cylinder OHC four stroke of 173cc with a two-speed gearbox and hand change mounted on the tank.

The front forks are Druid type with short springs acting in compression.

The machine was available in two versions, Turismo and Sport Turismo.

Fert entered competition with Vittorio Aldi but the only success achieved by the rider San Camillo Saini in the Como-Maurizio race held in 1929.

They gained a first in category in a cross country competition which took place in Milan, and a Fert sidecar combination won the Milan-Stresa regularity trial.
