OK Supreme Coeur de Lion Model GS/34

ENGINE The new light 350c.c. O.H.V. J.A.P. single port sports is a delightful engine to handle. The head is improved for 1934 -and other proven sound features are retained. Carburettor by Amal. We test with and urge the use of CASTROL XL.

FRAME Re-designed for 1934, as used in FLYING CLOUD models, with all the popular fitments embodied.

HANDLEBARS Twist grip control with a pleasing adjustable bar bend, fitted with solid levers, chrome-plated ; welded fulcrum clips for clutch and front brake. All other clips are adjustable to any position.

FORKS Webb tubular with steering damper and shock absorbers.

CHAINS Coventry 1/2 x.305 in. Automatically lubricated.

GEARBOX Three-speed pivot-fixing ; shafts and pinions of special design for this machine with accessible adjustment, hand control. Quadrant on tank. Multi- plate clutch. Ratios 5:40, 8:76 & 14:28. Use CASTROLEASE for sweet gear-changing.

BRAKES & HUBS- Built up on to a 6 in. Forged steel rear brake drum, with 5in. front. Wide brake linings. Rain and mud excluders, and finger adjustment to both.

TYRES Dunlop Roadster, 25 x 3.00in., on chrome-plated rims.

SADDLE Extra large 3 point suspension, soft top.

MUDGUARDS & CASINGS Heavy section cold bright rolled guards, hinged rear. Edges beaded, as are the number plates. Great care has been taken in the designing of our chain enclosure - casings fitted to both sides of the machine and are easily detachable. The design allows for practical covering of all that is vital. The frame casings are of stout steel and detached by the withdrawal of two bolts only.

TANKS Welded pressed steel, black enamelled, gold-lined petrol and oil tanks holding 2 gallons of petrol and one quart of oil. Push-on petrol tap. Entirely new knee-grips moulded to the tank.

Petrol consumption approx. 70-75 m.p.g.

LIGHTING & IGNITION Lucas 6 volt dynamo set with larger and improved dynamo. Large head lamp with double filament bulb controlled by switch from handlebar, tell-tale in head lamp, 12 amp. battery, with patent carrier adjustable and sprung in rubber. Patent No. 21454/33, removable, or may be swung out for topping up in thirty seconds. Electric horn, distinctive note.

Full set of Abingdon tools in special steel container.
