Model LH 200 c.c. COLT

Engine: Vertical O.H.V. 60 x 70 mm.- 197cc. (2.36 x 2.75 - 12.18 cubic inches). Cast iron cylinder and aluminium alloy cylinder head with valve seat inserts. Crankshaft mounted on heavy duty ball bearing and plain bronze bearing. Roller big end bearing. Gear driven camshaft Push rod operated overhead valves. Lubrication: double gear pump. 48 watt A.C. generator mounted on drive side. Contact breaker on timing side with automatic ignition control. Amal 'Monobloc' carburetter with air cleaner.

Frame: Robust tubular construction, fully triangulated with all-welded joints. Plunger rear suspension. Easy lift spring-up central stand.

Front Forks: Telescopic with hydraulic control.

Brakes: Powerful with non-fade linings.

Transmission: Four-speed gearbox, foot control. Two-plate clutch with built in shock absorber. Primary chain enclosed in oil bath. Rear chain protected.

Handlebars and Controls: Adjustable, chromium plated, 7/8 in. diameter.

Petrol Tank: Rubber mounted, enamelled and lined with chromium plated motifs. Quick action filler cap.

Mudguards: Deep half-round section Rear stay quickly detachable for easy wheel removal.

Equipment: Ariel design dualseat and pillion footrests. Speedometer 70 m.p.h. (120 km.p.h.). Rectifier, coil and emergency switch for direct starting. 6 in. headlamp. 9 amp. Battery. Stop and tail lamp. Reflector. Electric horn. Tool box and tools. Tyre inflator

Finish: Superbly finished in best quality Deep Brunswick Green enamel.
