Hirsch 1923 Boxer Twin

Hirsch-1923-Bretti-1.jpg
The example of the Douglas boxer engine was followed by many factories outside of England; in Germany we find the same engine concept, and also on the Fongri from Italy.

Later the idea of rotating the engine 90 degrees came to BMW, laying the foundations for a long career for the boxer engine.
