Luxmore and Hubbard

L and H was a motorcycle produced from 1923 to 1925 by Luxmore and Hubbard of Ilfracombe, on the North Devon coast.

This short-lived make was created to fill a gap in the market, and the L and H was a big twin fitted with a 976cc sv V-twin JAP engine and a four-speed Jardine gearbox. Built to cope with the hilly terrain of the area, it was probably only of local interest. With Ilfracombe being so far from the centre of industry, the marque soon disappeared.
