Motavia Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufactured: c1950-1959

It would appear that Motavia was a Gnome-Rhone company which marketed a number of machines from other manufacturers, as well as rebadged versions of their own motorcycles.

Motavia marketed the Gnome & Rhone R4f as type 9tv.

They sold Automoto Villiers 100cc VML machines as a Motavia 2tv, and offered a rebadged Follis cyclomoteur along with several other Lavalette-powered machines.
