Mars built the futuristic "White Mars" in 1921, a behemoth with a 1000-cc
Maybach engine of boxer configuration and a frame of pressed steel. Mars
built bikes and scooters in the 1950’s using Fichtel
& Sachs engines. The Mars Stella ‘150’ was deservedly one
of the most successful bikes sold in Germany at that time and the Stella
‘175’ was very attractive. At one time they also used Raleigh
engines.
