BMG Mosquito Mopeds

A Brief History of the Italian Marque

Manufactured: ca 1950-1954

A Moped produced by Industrie Meccaniche Meridionali in the early 1950s, the initials stood for Bicimosquito Garelli. The machine was powered by a 49cc Garelli Mosquito Type 315 engine which was housed in a frame built by Metalmeccanica Meridional. Both firms were in Pomigliano d'Arco, near Naples.
