Bergfex Motorcycles

A Brief History of the Marque

Manufacturer: Bergfex Motorfahrzeug-Fabrik, Berlin. 1904-1909
These were long-wheelbase motorcycles fitted with a variety of relatively powerful V-twin engines from Antoine, Fafnir, Kelecom, NSU, Minerva and possibly Grade. Bergfex also fitted their own engines.

In 1907 they came to an arrangement with Stoewer to have them build an automobile name "Auto Gnom" for them. The car appeared at the Paris Salon, but Bergfex entered receivership before production could commence.
