A Brief History of the Marque

Ari Motorfahrzeugbau GmbH, Plauen, Vogtland

In 1921 and 1922 the firm built a 2-seater cyclecar powered by a Steudel-Werke boxer twin engine of 12 hp, with independent suspension and a transmission which according to advertisements of the day was "as easy to handle as cutting butter with a knife".

From 1924 to 1925 the company produced motorcycles using 147cc two-stroke engines from DKW.
