A Brief History of the Marque
First announced at the Brussels motor salon in 1953, 10 Aldimi scooters were built in 1954*.
The name is derived from the letters of the names of the two men who began the project, Albert D'Ieteren and René Milhoux, the latter a well-known racer of solos and sidecars.
Aldimi scooters were powered by Sarolea two-strokes of 125 or 200cc with Miller ignition and Amal carburettor, and the first (and only) model was named the Prince de Liège. They were built at the works of Ieteren Frères in Brussels. There is mention of an association with Piatti.
René Milhoux was involved with Marcel Debay building Ready motorcycles in 1924.
* One source says the scooters were built in 1953.
